WhaTalker Abuse Prevention Policy
1. Purpose
WhaTalker is committed to providing a secure, respectful, and productive environment for every customer. This Abuse Prevention Policy establishes clear rules that prohibit misuse of our platform and explains how we detect, investigate, and remediate violations.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all products, modules, APIs, and related services offered under the WhaTalker brand (collectively, “Services”). By using the Services, every user—administrators, agents, and end‑customers—agrees to comply with these requirements.
3. Guiding Principles
- User Safety – We prioritise the physical, emotional, and digital safety of all users.
- Legal Compliance – All activity must conform to applicable laws and regulations worldwide.
- Integrity & Trust – Communications must remain truthful, respectful, and free from deception.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following categories of abuse are strictly forbidden. The list is illustrative, not exhaustive.

Unsolicited Messaging & Phishing | Bulk spam, chain letters, social‑engineering campaigns, links to malicious software, or any attempt to obtain credentials or payment data fraudulently. |
Hate, Violence & Illegal Activity | Content that promotes discrimination, terrorism, violent extremism, or the sale of illegal goods or services. |
Sexual Content | Publication or transmission of pornographic, exploitative, or non‑consensual adult material. |
Child Safety | Any content that depicts or encourages sexual exploitation or endangerment of minors. Immediate account termination and report to authorities will follow. |
Personal & Confidential Data | Sharing private information—such as government IDs, credit‑card numbers, home addresses—without explicit, documented consent. |
Intellectual‑Property Infringement | Distribution of copyrighted materials without authorisation, or any activity that violates trademark, patent, or other IP rights. |
Platform Manipulation & Security Breach | Attempting to probe, scan, or compromise WhaTalker infrastructure, or using the Services to distribute malware. |
5. Reporting Abuse
You can report suspected violations through either channel below:
- Online Abuse Report Form – Submit details at https://whatalker.com/report-abuse (available 24/7).
- Email – Send a message to abuse@whatalker.com.
Please provide the account ID, a concise description of the incident, date/time, and any supporting evidence (URLs, screenshots, headers). Our compliance team reviews every report in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
6. Investigation Process
- Acknowledgement – We confirm receipt within one business day (except where prohibited by law).
- Assessment – A specialised compliance team reviews the evidence and may request additional information.
- Action – Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, suspend functionality, or permanently close the account.
- Notification – We inform the reporter when the case is resolved, unless restricted by privacy obligations.
7. Enforcement Measures
- Warning & Education – Minor, first‑time infractions.
- Feature Limitation – Temporary restriction of messaging volume or channels.
- Account Suspension – Temporary block pending corrective action.
- Termination – Irreversible closure for severe or repeated violations.
- Legal Referral – Cooperation with law‑enforcement when required.
8. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, submit an appeal within 14 days of notification. Provide relevant evidence; we will review and respond within 10 business days.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
All investigations respect the confidentiality of user data. Any processing of personal information for abuse review complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable privacy statutes.
10. Policy Updates
WhaTalker may modify this Abuse Prevention Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or business needs. Material changes will be announced at least 15 days in advance through the platform dashboard and email notifications.
